This blog was a long time coming--I've always wanted to give back to the English-speaking H!P community, and for me this is the best way to do it. I think reading the members' blogs is a really valuable part of being a H!P fan. A lot of times I think certain girls are overlooked by fans who don't speak Japanese, mostly because they have no idea what their personality is really like. My goal as a translator is to convey that personality through blog translations, in hopes that maybe people can come to see what makes those girls so good and come to like them. And for those that already love them, I want you to love them more! Or just have fun reading their blogs.
For a long time I just wasn't in a position where I could take on a project like this, but now that I am, it's added a lot of value to my life! It's nice to have something to focus on every day when I get home. I'm not the best translator out there, and really I'm a huge amateur, but I want to get better, because I really enjoy doing this.
